Ukraine Launches Largest-Ever Drone Strike on Moscow, Targeting Key Fuel Refinery

The Ukraine has conducted its biggest-ever drone attack on Thursday against Moscow, employing about 200 drones to attack one of the Gazprom Neft's refinery plants that provides 40% of the city's fuel supply needs. The attack triggered heavy explosions that led to the death of an eight-year-old girl, injuries of 16 individuals, and black-colored rainfall due to the smoke produced during the explosions. The escalating drone attacks have put a lot of pressure on Russia's energy sector because, besides the shortages of fuel causing fuel rations and restrictions on driving in the annexed territory of Crimea, Russia is now at risk of experiencing a shortage of fuel in its own mainland territory, forcing it to import fuel from Asia.
